Clearly Google means the skin laxity aspect that it helps - as well as possible further fat protrusion over time. But then again if additional fat protrusion happens as we age - wouldn't blephs also be similarly impermanent? In other words - as far as fat reduction/protrusion focus - is accutite almost as good as bleph for quality and going the distance?

Great point that I never considered

under eye filler does last for up to 9 years, (recent research shows this) . It is almost impossible to remove. I even tried to remove mine with surgery after trying hylauranadaise so many times. Under eye filler ruined my eyes. Maybe I should try accutite now that surgery didn't even work with the best surgeon in Beverly Hills. He actually said you can't see filler during surgery. Wish he would have told me in advance.

This procedure can be done under local anesthetic or IV sedation.

It is recommended to wait 6 days to wear a hat and to cover your head during the first three months if you will be exposing the transplanted follicles to prolonged direct sunlight.

If the goal is to lift and address the foundation/structure of the midface, and if the product used is more viscous, then yes, we definitely inject along the bone. :)

Yes, we use injectables of many kinds including Radiesse and Hyaluronic acid fillers like Voluma, Juvederm, Restylane...etc. Each have their own unique set of properties. While HA fillers are great in many instances (and happens to be the type of filler we use most often), we don't always like that they retain water. For certain patients, Radiesse is a great option for injecting areas close to the bone, like the mandible or on the zygomas, due to the calcium make up of the filler.

Dr. Rapaport sits the patient upright before and after injections to determine where product should be placed and how much. For some injections he finds it helpful to have the patient lying down and for other injections, like tear trough injections, he prefers the patient to be sitting upright.

It can only be done with a powerful microscope like the one we use. :)

David P. Rapaport, MD, FACS I was told that with the new Neograft technology you don’t need to use a microscope to separate the different hair follicles. Is there any truth behind this?

@@Ganks2434 True. Hair follicles are extracted individually. Most are ready to be implanted without the need to separate them under the microscope.

Where was your treatment performed and at what depths and energy levels? Treatment outcomes vary GREATLY depending on the treatment parameters (which include energy level, depth of needles, number of passes performed...etc)
